My Bio
Clecio Lira uses black and white negative film, paint and digital photography to create his beautiful images. He sculpts his original B/W photography by adding luminous colors, backgrounds, shadows to give the suggestion of motion. By enhancing these images he invites us to focus on the basics of their curves and lines. In the process the images achieve an added dimension; we are led to see these images in a refreshing and innovative way.

Mr. Lira was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and resides as a freelance photographer in New York City. Educated at Universidade Santa Ursula (Rio de Janeiro), ICP (International Center of Photography), SVA (School of Visual Arts) NYC and FIT ( Fashion Institute of Technology).
